Marching Straight Into March
The Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter has been celebrating March is Red Cross Month for 65 years. The tradition began after President Roosevelt signed a March is Red Cross Month Presidential Proclamation in 1943, and it has been upheld by every president ever since. March is a time for Red Cross chapters around the country to celebrate with special events, trainings and fundraisers that give the public a chance to learn more about the Red Cross and its programs.
